Susterra® propanediol (1,3-propanediol) and propylene glycol (1,2-propanediol) have exactly the same chemical formula, but slightly different structures. This structural difference gives Susterra® propanediol enhanced thermal stability, decreasing fluid degradation and system corrosion and improving the efficiency of high-heat applications such as solar and geothermal process heating.
